Meet the founders

Merv and Lorene Yoder

Merv and Lorene have 4- children and 6-grandchildren. Merv was ordained to the ministry in 2006. In late 2022, Merv began ministering to a man so addicted to meth that he was seeing things and hearing voices. After taking authority over the unclean spirits in the Name of Jesus this man seemed to have a breakthrough. However, it became apparent that he needed to be in a mentorship program. There was no facility that could take him at that time. God placed a burden on Merv’s heart and he started praying and seeking God about opening a facility. After being informed that Mason Point was for-sale, Merv made contact with them and was told they had a bid for 1.6 million. Although this seemed out of reach, by the Grace of God and for His Glory this facility is being donated for $1.00!

Jason and Carol Beachy

Jason and Carol have 3-children. Jason has been a school teacher for the past 8-years. . Jason and Carol started a “Kids Club Ministry” in Lovington in 2018. Through this, they have seen first hand the need for a ministry directed at helping mothers and children in crisis. They were very instrumental in the vision and beginning of Project 61 Ministries.

Jason and Carol with their family live on the grounds and will be taking on the administrative role at Project 61 Ministries.
